Welcome to the Historical Circuit/ milestone 8

Morales & Neumeyer

It was built in 1939/1940 by Godofredo Haecker as an annex to the Guesthouse ‘Pension Eden’, property of José Mayer. Haecker, who arrived in Bariloche in 1939 to work in the reconstruction of Llao- Llao Hotel, was the author of many buildings in an “alpine style” with its characteristic equal proportion between width, height and lenght, slight slope in roofs and small windows. These beautiful building is similar to its neighbour “Club Andino Bariloche” from the same author. They both have remarkable finishing details in windows, staircases and balconies.
